Principal Investigator: Baron Hamman, M. D. Location: Baylor University Medical Center Sub-Investigators: Greg Matter, M.D.; Thomas Hoang, M.D.; Sponsor: Guidant Primary Objective: This is a prospective study of the Guidant Microwave Ablation System for the treatment of permanent Atrial Fibrillation. Patients must be scheduled for mitral valve surgery (+/- CABG) and agree to randomization to + or - MAZE with Guidant's AFX Microwave device.
