The left atrial volume sub-study using CT angiography
Principal Investigators: Jeffrey Schussler, M.D.; Kevin Wheelan, M.D. Location: Baylor Heart and Vascular Hosptial Inclusion Criteria: This protocol seeks to use CT imaging to evaluate left atrial volumes in patients who are undergoing pulmonary vein ablation. Use of this technology may be helpful in defining patients who are likely to have greater chances of success with pulmonary vein ablation and/or recurrence of atrial fibrillation after ablation.
