HeartPlace Foundation Chairman

Because of our desire to help those in need and help the community at large, the physicians of HeartPlace have established the HeartPlace Foundation.  Each year, donations are made to community organizations that are nonsectarian and nonpolitical.  These organizations cover a diverse spectrum of causes, but all have in common the goal of helping those in our communities with specific needs.

Last year, HeartPlace donated $72,000 to such worthwhile charities as the North Texas Food Bank, Family Place, Rainbow Days, the Arlington Kiwanis Club, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dallas and Fort Worth, and Meals on Wheels through the Visiting Nurse Association.

Included in the Foundation''s donations is the George Roffman Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Through this vehicle, scholarships for post-high school education are given to children of our employees.

We in HeartPlace understand the need to help build a better community.  The Foundation enables us to convert this understanding into action.
