Dr. Wheelan is the chief of staff at the Baylor Heart and vascular Hospital and the Director of Pacing and Electrophysiology and Co-Chief of the Department of Cardiology at Baylor University Medical Center. He specializes in the treatment of patients with inappropriate heart rhythms, and performs ablations, implants pacemakers and defibrillators and performs laser assisted lead extraction.
