Dr. Pieniek joined HeartPlace in 1996. He serves in several leadership roles within HeartPlace, PA. He is the Director of Echocardiography and is actively engaged in Quallity Assessment conferences for physicians and sonographers. He serves on the Privileges and Credentialing Committee of HeartPlace. He is also participates in the Electronic Medical Record Committee.
He has recently served in several leadership roles at HCA Medical City Dallas Hospital including previous Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Laboratory. Dr. Pieniek additionally serves on the Performance Improvement Committee for Cardiology at HCA Medical City Dallas Hospital.
Personal Interests:
Dr. Pieniek enjoys snow skiing, bicycle riding, hunting and skeet shooting, and photography. He is also an avid Amateur Radio Operator.
