Personal Narrative:
Dr. Peterman attended Rice University in Houston, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology. He received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He also completed his Fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Peterman is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Vascular Medicine, Endovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine. In addition to general and interventional cardiology, he has a particular interest in vascular medicine and peripheral vascular intervention. Dr. Peterman is also trained in echocardiography, coronary CT angiography, and nuclear cardiology. He and his wife Dana, a pediatrician in Dallas, have three children.
