John Reuter, MD, FACC, RPVI, is a triple board-certified internal medicine physician, proudly serving adults and teens at the Plano, Texas, office of HeartPlace. Dr. Reuter is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and internal medicine. He’s also a registered vascular specialist. 

Dr. Reuter began his professional education at Stanford University in Stanford, California, earning his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. Then, he enrolled at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and obtained his Doctor of Medicine.

Following graduation, Dr. Reuter completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He also completed fellowship training there before entering private practice in 2013.

Dr. Reuter holds hospital privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano, Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital Denton, Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital Plano, and Medfinity Health Plano. He welcomes anyone seeking improved cardiovascular health to HeartPlace Baylor Plano today.
