Dr. Charles Howard is an interventional cardiologist who grew up in Plano, Texas and is excited to be home serving his community. Dr. Howard graduated from Texas A&M University with honors in biomedical science. He stayed at Texas A&M for medical school where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
After completing his internal medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center, Dr. Howard moved to the largest medical center in the world to pursue his passion for cardiovascular disease. He completed his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine where he served as Chief Interventional Fellow and graduated with the honor of “Outstanding Fellow in Interventional Cardiology”, awarded to the top graduating fellow.
Dr. Howard specializes in invasive cardiovascular procedures, echocardiology, and nuclear cardiology. He provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with expert diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases including hypertension, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and peripheral vascular disease.
When he is not at work, he enjoys playing basketball, running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
