Annual Heart Walk is Coming up!

Every year HeartPlace participates in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk. We create several teams, one for each clinic. It really brings people together for a single worthy cause. We do bake sales and contests to raise money and each clinic competes against the other in a fun game of who can raise the most money. Heart Disease awareness should be talked about all the time because it is extremely important. But once a year we really focus our energy on getting the word out. About 600,000 people die of heart disease in the US every year!!! That is a staggering number. It is the LEADING cause of death for both men and women. We take our hearts for granted, but it is probably the most important organ in your body. Come join us on September 14 in Dallas or Tarrant County and walk for hearts everywhere. You get to be with some of the coolest people on Earth.
