Providers / Arjun Nair, MD

Arjun Nair, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist practicing at HeartPlace’s location in Plano, Texas. His mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and throughout Northeast Texas. 

Dr. Nair completed his undergraduate studies at Missouri State University in 2003. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at St. George University School of Medicine. After completing a fellowship at Albany Medical Center, Dr. Nair joined the faculty as an assistant professor and clinical cardiologist. He relocated from New York to Texas in 2014. 

He believes that it is critical to explain conditions and treatments clearly to his patients so they can make informed decisions regarding their care. Dr. Nair takes the time to explain all of the available treatment options and answer any questions his patients may have. 

Dr. Nair is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and cardiac nuclear imaging. He takes an evidence-based, preventive approach in caring for his patients.​ He speaks both English and Malayalam.
