Courtney Newsom, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at HeartPlace in Plano, Texas. She works closely with cardiologist Leena Sharan to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Courtney brings more than 14 years of nursing experience, with the majority of her career spent in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. During that time, she played a key role in supporting both diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures before transitioning into her current role as an advanced practice provider.

With a strong foundation in cardiovascular medicine, Courtney is passionate about helping patients understand and manage complex heart conditions.
