Madiha Khan, DO, FACC is board-certified cardiologist specializing in multimodality cardiac imaging (including advanced echocardiography, cardiac PET/SPECT, and cardiac CT).
She has expertise in preventive cardiology with a special interest in cardiometabolic disease, complex lipid disorders, and women’s cardiovascular health and prevention. She provides care for patients with coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms. Dr. Khan earned her medical degree at Liberty University COM in Virginia. She completed internal medicine training at Houston Methodist, where she was named Chief Resident, and subsequently completed cardiology fellowship at DeBakey Heart and Vascular Institute.
Dr. Khan has a passion for writing, which she channels to advance her commitment to humanism in healthcare. She has served on the American College of Cardiology FIT Council on Humanism and Humanities, and in addition to authoring articles for the NEJM Chief Resident series.
