Preethy Oommen, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified adult gerontology, acute care nurse practitioner at HeartPlace located in Plano, Texas. She works closely with Dr. Leena Sharan. Her mission is to improve the lives and cardiac health of individuals living in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and throughout Northeast Texas by providing dedicated care. 

She attended SNDT Women’s University in Mumbai, India, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Preethy then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington with a concentration in adult gerontology-acute care.

To stay up to date with the latest advances in the field of medicine, Preethy maintains professional memberships with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, North Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is affiliated with several local hospitals, including Texas Health Allen, Texas Health Frisco, and Texas Health Plano.
